Last month, AMG held an event at the Yas Marina Circuit, to train AMG customers in performance and track driving. The occasion was used to demonstrate the (non-SUV) AMG range and was also the first time evo-me got to sample the awesome E63 AMG on home soil. It was a short affair, but we can confirm that the latest big-power Benz is amongst the best sports saloons on sale today, maintaining AMG’s newfound focus on dynamics that began with the excellent C63. Also on hand was the very rapid works DTM driver Bruno Spengler, who gave taxi rides in a track-modified C63 psuedo-racing car. Let’s just say we learnt some interesting new racing lines...
