Here are the first official pictures of Aston Martin’s One-77, the super-exclusive, $ 2 million car that is being made available to just 77 lucky peopleH seemingly unaffected by the credit crunch. In fact Aston has been turning potential customers away – by the end of the Paris motor show in October over 100 people had tried to put down a deposit on one of the most expensive supercars ever. These photos suggest that the One 77 will have a pop-up rear spoiler integrated into the bootlid, grooved ceramic brake discs and deep side air intakes, while there’s also a monster DBR9-style rear diffuser.

The blacked-out headlights show the One-77 isn’t quite road-ready yet – this is in fact the design model shown in Paris – although close inspection of the tyres reveals the 7.3-litre V12 machine should ride on 265/35 ZR20s at the front and 335/30 ZR20s at the back. They’ll still have their work cut out coping with the expected 700bhp-plus output, though…

Buyers will get to specify the finer details of their One-77 themselves, meaning each car should be unique, not to mention a potentially very valuable collectors’ item.
