With more than 26 cars and 29 members in attendance, the Ferrari Owners Club UAE recently embarked on a club drive from the Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club at Arabian Ranches, across the Hajar Mountains, onto the Fujairah Rotana Al Aqah Beach.
On the day members of the new Ferrari Middle East and Africa Regional Office introduced themselves to the club regulars with a presentation on the love or loathe Ferrari California, which is due to land in the region around mid 2009.
Officially recognised by Ferrari S.p.a. Italy, the UAE Ferrari Owners Club has over 65 active members, owning both recent and retro models. The club also organises monthly events, including track days, social evenings, scenic drives and technical presentations. Formed to give Ferrari aficionados a chance to use their sports cars in a controlled environment, while promoting the Prancing Horse brand across the region. Membership is open to all Ferrari owners, who are keen to meet like-minded motorheads.
