Evo's publisher thinks I sit on my backside too much so he's delegated me to man the evo stand at the 9th Dubai Motorshow (Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre) November 14th - 18th, without sitting down.

So in advance I applaud your generosity, for the food, drink and general chitchat that you (the dear reader) will be sending my way to keep me from falling over.

However, if we ever get to the tumbleweed stage, I'll at least have the insane 260bhp Caterham to keep me company, so we can both go more insane together, But to make sure we don't get to that stage, we've cunningly come up with some quality reasons for you to pay us a visit.

We'll be handing out copies of evo, EA computer games and swanky Bose headphones. And if that's not enough, we'll also be dishing out wigs (evo tested at 220kph) similar to the one I wore for this month's Caterham challenge. And if you are fortunate to be spotted at the show wearing the wig, by evo-snapper Alejandro, we can guarantee your mug will make it into the hallowed pages of evo next month.

All and all you'll be mad not to join us. And remember we'll talk about cars until we are blue in the face, so don't forget to come armed with interesting stories about quick things on four-wheels, as we know anything on two-wheels is the best thing only to going backwards
